Russian vacationers start arriving in Varadero this spring

The first group of 285 vacationers from the Russian oil company Rosneft to arrive in Cuba this spring 2025 have been enjoying their stay in Varadero since Friday, as reported by Havanatur S.A. International Group of Tour Operators and Travel Agencies.

In a press release, Havanatur notes that two other flights with more than 370 passengers each are expected. Travelers will enjoy two-week stays designed under the concept of higher quality of life and will undertake corporate tourism programs.

Four more arrivals are planned for the coming fall/winter season, as well as an increase in the volume of passengers with respect to previous years.

According to the international tour operator’s press release, travelers arrived in Matanzas through the Juan Gualberto Gómez International Airport on Nordwind 6101 airline.

Varadero has consolidated its position as the ideal place to enjoy programs aimed at workers and families, an experience of more than 11 years since the beginning of this type of Havanatur operation.

With the expectation of “Experiencing more,” visitors enjoy outdoor physical activities, excursions to get to know the Cuban tourist destination and other options related to conservation and environmental care, areas that emphasize health, wellness and quality of life.

Havanatur is the only 100% Cuban tour operator, with vast experience in the corporate tourism modality, and the agency seeks to consolidate and expand this to other markets and destinations in Cuba with favorable conditions, according to the press release.
